The
Golden Spike Volleyball Club was created in 1994 by Paul Mend and
Scott Bender. That year the midgets boys team was Provincial
and Western Canadian Champions. In 1997 Bryan Gee and Azim
Jessa took on the reigns of the club coaching many years of
successful teams. The club has always been successful and
looks to remain that way for a long time.
